Jay Fizzle & JpOnThaTrack: The 'Bottom Boy Survivor' music video is a neighborhood takeover

When it comes to the fire rap artist Jay Fizzle is serving up? It’s pure flames and his anthems all deserve fir visuals. So seeing his ‘Bottom Boy Survivor’ music video? It’s taking the entire crew outside and turning up from the street and porch.

Jay reminds you how much he’s leveled up and his non-stop grind. Get caught up in the flex.

Igniting Memphis with his streetwise raps and drawling flow, Jay Fizzle never fails to keep it real. Today, he shares the video for “Bottom Boy Survivor” ft. JpOnThaTrack, a highlight from last month’s Who Is Grizzape. Over cinematic production from Billboard charting producerJpOnThaTrack, Fizzle unleashes raw street stories, reflecting on how far he’s come and the lessons he’s learned along the way: “Cut off some n****s ‘cuz n****s start showin’ me fake love / Jump off the porch, yeah I been on the Paper Route.” In the video, directed by Wolfe Productions, Fizzle and his crew visit Memphis’ Westwood neighborhood, where he stunts in front of a mural depicting his mentor Young Dolph

Who Is Grizzape is a feast of no-holds-barred Memphis music, establishing Jay Fizzle as one of the finest spittas in his city. Project highlight “Front And Back Pocket" features a slowed sample of Young Dolph, from the 2015 song "Boyz In The Hood," and guest spots from PRE cohorts Big Moochie Grape and Kenny Muney, while he expertly plays the lothario in the Ayoza-produced "Mr. Freaky Man." Fizzle welcomes collaborators like his PRE compadre Key Glock, who joins him on "No Mo," which also includes a posthumous verse from Big Scarr, and Memphis diva Kashh Mirhops on "Opp B*tch." Who Is Grizzape is available to stream everywhere via Paper Route Empire.

Fizzle's Who Is Grizzape continues a strong run for the Memphis rap mainstay. Last year, he shared his album F*CK BEING FAMOUS, which featured guest spots from 03 Greedo and fellow PRE soldiers Key Glock and SNUPE BANDZ. He paid tribute to his favorite Ninja Turtle, who he honors with a chain around his neck, with 2022's DonaFizzo, which featured street hits like “Standing On Top Of Sh*t” ft. Key Glock and the heartfelt tribute “Long Live Dolph” ft. Ricco Barrino.

With Who Is Grizzape out now, Fizzle digs deep into his mastery of Memphis music and delivers a set for the Tennessee trap heads. Sit back and watch him rise to the top of his city’s busy scene.
