Football season is back and the vibes are real with Joey Cool and Tech N9ne linking up in their new ‘Kingdom’ music video. Fresh from putting out a new Enjoy The View studio album, Joey blesses fans with some cinematic fun in the form of the new video.
With N9ne pulling through and turning up from a high school football field, it’s all types of big game focus from the duo. Peep the details and keep scrolling to get into the zone.
To celebrate the arrival of the record, he just uncovered the music video for the single “Kingdom” [feat. Tech N9ne]. Watch the music video for “Kingdom” HERE. A distorted guitar crunch sets the tone for the track as Joey’s unpredictable cadence cuts right through the beat. Meanwhile, Tech pulls up with a focused and fiery verse of his own. Uplifted by a bluesy guitar solo, the hook hits hard, “When the kingdom comes, you’d better fall in line and pray to God that he’s been listening. Trying to bring my kingdom down.”
In the accompanying visual, Joey and Tech take over a football field. They rap to the camera in between footage of drills and intense game action.
At its heart, the album transmits an important message for Joey. He states, “We get so caught up in this whole music thing, and it’s hard to see where you’re actually at. For me, Enjoy The View literally means stepping back, chilling, having a good time, and enjoying the view. Three years removed from the Pandemic, we’re getting back to it for real. We’re touring. We’re making music. We’re not taking it for granted. I’m reminding myself I’ve come a long way, and I’m going to stop and smell the roses.”
He paved the way for Enjoy The View with the likes of “Closer Now” [feat. King Iso & K.A.A.N.], “Peanut Butter Jealous" [feat. X-Raided], “Sweet” [feat. Lex Bratcher], and “Buckets.” Beyond piling up hundreds of thousands of streams and views, he also notched plugs from Underground Hip-Hop Blog and more.
