The song comes off her self-titled debut EP released earlier this summer which quickly received noted acclaim from press and tastemakers alike.

Fans will very soon be able to catch the 23 year-old phenom when she opens for Nigerian star Ayra Starr in the U.K. next month.

is this your first time getting put up onto Lifesize? Have you rode with Teddy since day one? Peep the details on how much she has worked to rise in the culture.

Having spearheaded the careers of luminaries Rema, Ayra Starr, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal; Don Jazzy and Mavin Records are set to launch yet another superstar in Lifesize Teddy. The 23 year old rapper, vocalist and poet hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She was raised on an eclectic musical diet comprising Eve, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, 2pac, Shania Twain, Lucky Dube, Osita Osadebe, Brandy and Diana Ross. Lifesize Teddy’s musical foundations were largely shaped by her mother who was an English literature teacher and unpublished author. Following in her literary footsteps, she soon began writing poetry to channel her intense emotions before turning to the artform of rap.

After a chance IG interaction with Ladipoe parlayed into her opening for him in 2018, Lifesize Teddy was first brought into the Mavin Records fold in 2020 when she joined their artist development academy. Over a 3-year span, she was trained and primed to be a star with the full package. Taking classes in everything from knowing how to perform with a live band, media coaching to songwriting, choreography and movement direction all before graduating to become part of the label’s star studded roster. A disruptor, an outlier and proudly unconventional, Lifesize Teddy is on a mission to revolutionize contemporary African music and elevate the status of local Hip-Hop music in her own way.
