Matt Ox: It's all about going 'Fast' and living life to the fullest

It’s more than just music videos for Matt Ox these days with his new OXygen project lined up to drop April 20 - but before the album arrives, it’s all eyes on the new ‘Fast’ music video.

The hip-hop artist goes non-stop with the wordplay and the energy level is sky-high. Kick back and watch Matt in his zone.

The unison of Matt Ox and the Surf Gang collective is seamless, showcasing a noticeable growth, maturity and experimentation in his artistic expressions and sound. Marking the first time that Ox has worked with a single group of producers for the entirety of a project since his debut album, OX with Working On Dying, OXygen’s eclectic batch of high-energy beats is handled by Surf Gang producers Evilgiane, Goner, Harrison, and Eera. Fresh off the release of his AI.OX EP just last week, Matt Ox is continuing to expand his dynamic sound and artistic palette with his forthcoming project in collaboration with Surf Gang, OXygen.

As a whole, OXygen serves as a strong testament to Ox’s maturity and commitment to being a constantly evolving artist as he leans into the “rage” sound by experimenting with his authoritative vocal delivery, energetic verses and playful flows. In his new video single “Fast”, Ox showcases his unique auto-tuned delivery over a spacey beat complete with bright synths and stuttering hi-hats. Boasting features from Pasto Flocco and RealYungPhil, OXygen is his debut project with the Surf Gang collective, where their worlds unite into one, and Matt Ox's colorful sound and artistic diversity are able to be on full display.
