Michael Rainey Jr. comes through clutch for Melii in 'Hey Stranger'

Needed another reason to hate on ‘Power Book II: Ghost’’s Michael Rainey Jr.? How about the fact he’s still winning and even gets to get boo’d up with hip-hop newcomer Melii in her new, must-see ‘Hey Stranger’ music video?

The video hits hard and clocking in at just under two minutes, isn’t enough time for the on-screen beauty and witty lyricist. Check out some details and grab the popcorn for this visual treat.

Confident and unbothered by a cheating ex, Harlem recording artist Melii is flexing her worth and moving on to bigger and better with Power Book II’s leading star Michael Rainy Jr. in her newest visual, “Hey Stranger.” After recently returning to the music scene, “Hey Stranger” is featured on the lyricist’s December EP, Winter in New York City.

The “Hey Stranger” visuals captivate the attitude of redemption and the power of moving on. Featuring the songstress’ smooth melodies on top of a laid back beat, the video shows Melii leaving a less than desirable situation and focusing on what’s next. Keeping her promise of treating fans with new music this year, the new visuals offer fans a glimpse as to what is yet to come from the chart topping superstar in 2022.

In case you still need to get caught up with Melli’s Winter in New York City, we gotcha covered.
