Peezy: The new 'Intro' music video is all the hype needed for a new tour announcement

New music videos. New tours. New energy. It’s all in a day’s work for hip-hop artist Peezy and what he has on deck over the next few months kicking off with his new ‘Intro’ music video from the GHETTO album.

The new must-see visual? Tough. Cruising around and reflecting on what life is looking like in 2023? Must-see, of course.

Peezy, the Detroit Hip-Hop mogul and rapper, has just shared a new video for “Intro”, off his recently-released album GHETTO. Along with the video, Peezy has also announced his forthcoming tour that’s set to kick off in January 2024. Peezy is fresh off his newest album GHETTO, which arrived last week and was backed by the boastful singles “No Amiris” (feat. Key Glock), “Fashion Week” (feat. Larry June & Money Man) and "Psilocybin" (feat. BabyTron). Including other features from Ty Dolla $ign, Babyface Ray & Skilla Baby, GHETTO finds Peezy merging a star-studded guest list with his signature street sound. As he aims to reclaim the word “ghetto,” Peezy is shining a light on the beautiful aspects of his experiences growing up in the Motor City’s East side.

Peezy confidently labels GHETTO as his most personal work to date, which finds him blending certified street anthems with more introspective performances like “Intro”, where he addresses adversity while maintaining his cool demeanor. In the process, Peezy is expanding upon the blunt sounds of Detroit while elevating his storytelling abilities alongside a star-studded guest list across GHETTO – out now via Boyz Entertainment / EMPIRE. Beginning on 01/18/24, Peezy will be hitting the road to support his new album on a 16-date tour touching down in L.A., NY, Detroit, Atlanta and other major cities.

Following the breakthrough release of ONLY BUILT 4 DIAMOND LINKS last year, which included his RIAA Gold-Certified record “2 Million Up” (125M+ Streams), Peezy has kept his foot on the gas with a steady stream of releases including his GHETTO EP, a joint project with Baltimore’s Yg Teck and now, his new album GHETTO. Having amassed over 750 Million Global Streams and grown an organic fanbase in Detroit and beyond, Peezyhas never been in a better position to seize the moment.

Across GHETTO, Peezy aims to capitalize on the success of his breakthrough album last year, using the opportunity to shed light on the highs and lows he’s experienced along the way. Expanding upon his signature sound while delivering the kinds of icey, introspective, and self-aware street anthems that his fans have come to love, Peezy’s new album GHETTO is out now, boasting features from Ty Dolla $ign, Babyface Ray, Key Glock, Larry June, Money Man & Skilla Baby.
