Rotimi's action-packed 'Weapon' is all about dangerous love

R&B crooner Rotimi knows how to add a punch to his visuals. The veteran crooner has come through with the visual treatment to his new ‘Weapon’ anthem with help courtesy of Fireboy DML.

The video features everyone’s favorite former ‘Power’ bad boy finding himself captured and powerless by the one he loves and trusts most. The RIAA Gold Certified singer/songwriter is taken hostage by his partner in his latest visuals for ‘Weapon’ featuring Nigerian and international superstar recording artist Fireboy DML.

In case you are more familiar with Rotimi from his STARZ acting and not music, peep some deets on just how much he’s put into the recording industry grind.

Infused by his signature Afrobeat sound, the Damian Fyffe directed music video comes off Rotimi’s All Or Nothing album and highlights the New Jersey native’s acting skills as he finds himself held captive. The action based visuals feature everything from betrayal to seduction and will have viewers reminiscing of their own romantic yet passion fueled flings. Now known as an expert in storytelling, Rotimi’s “Weapon” is just among the EMPIRE singee’s most captivating music videos such as wedding track favorite, “I Do,” and other focus tracks including “What To Do,” “Don’t You Ever,” and “Decide,” which are all featured in his recent debut album All Or Nothing. Rotimi also announced a headlining world tour which, due to covid safety precautions, is expected to kick off in spring 2022.
