SheedTs: The 'Situationships' completely has the summer love vibes brewing

Cruising through the big city streets and letting loose on those bae-influenced thoughts? Look no further than what hip-hop crooner SheedTs is delivering courtesy of the new ‘Situationships’ music video.

The song goes hard but having a night life setting for this cinematic presentation? Tough. Embrace the details and get caught up in the visual.

Following a 2023 year that saw him become the inaugural signee to Great Day Records, 19-year-old bubbling rapper SheedTs has just announced that his new EP After It's All Done will be out on 6/14 and shared a new single “Situationships” along with an accompanying music video. A lush track defined by Sheed’s distinct soulful vocals,“Situationships” is a poetic, moody ode to a failing romance (“Baby, it’s my last time going through this love / It’s my last time going through these drugs”). Hailing from South Philadelphia, SheedTs first gained momentum in 2021 with breakout track "Eversince", which earned him his first co-sign from podcast host Gillie Da Kid. Projects 2 Sturdy and 5ive followed in 2022, quickly catching the attention of record executive Baroline Diaz. In 2023, Diaz launched her new label Great Day Records, announcing SheedTs as her first artist.

Hailed for his melodic production style and emotional lyricism, recent months have seen SheedTs earn co-signs from the likes of Veeze, Friday, and Rob 49 and collaborate with artists such as G Herbo (“Remember”) and Babyface Ray (“Changes”). With the release of 2023 mixtape C My Side, SheedTs amassed over 1 million first month streams and went on to garner acclaim from Pitchfork, Billboard, and BrooklynVegan. Now with new single “Situationships”, SheedTs is making his case as a 2024 Artist to Watch as he gears up to release After It's All Done in June.
