Just when you thought he might go in snooze mode, Smokepurpp is back on his rap grind with new audio heat and visual fun. The hip-hop star steps up to bless the world with his new ‘Shoot First’ music video.
From the casino setting to the jaw-dropping women, it’s all types of must-see things for Smoke. Peep the details and keep scrolling to see Purpp in his bag.
Known for his lightning-quick, hard-hitting bangers, Smokepurpp is an ideal ambassador for the South Florida scene. Giving a glimpse into his high rolling lifestyle, Purpp shares "Shoot First," his new single. Wielding a rapidfire flow atop elegant pianos and distorted 808s, Purpp works through his aggression, gleefully inviting smoke from anyone who'd try him. In the video, directed by All The Smoke, the Alamo Records rapper wears his sunglasses at night, as he gambles with house money at the poker table and using his winnings to make it rain.
"Shoot First" is Purpp's first single as a lead artist since 2021's "Not Your Speed" ft. Lil Gnar, but the Miami native has kept busy in the meantime, collaborating with the likes of Masked Wolf, Rarri, and Mike Stone. The rebellious rapper is hard at work on his next project, his first since Psycho (Legally Insane) EP and his first full-length since the ferocious 2020 mixtape Florida Jit.
The co-signs are strong, too. It’s more than just a few salutes to Smoke. Purpp’s glow continues to shine bright and the media knows it too.
