The song alone goes hard but seeing the concept come together in a visually stunning manner? Mind-blowing. Peep the details and tap in.

Emerging 21-year-old German artist Adam Ulanicki returns with his second single of the year, “Airplanes”. Arriving alongside the single is a serene visual that brings to life Adam’s heartfelt message of hope and self-discovery as he empowers others to chase their wishes because “they’re the compass of the soul.”

“Airplanes” is a reimagined rendition of B.o.B. and Hayley Williams’ hit 2010 single “Airplanes”, which made it to #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and went gold and platinum in numerous countries. The new song features a passionate mash-up of Adam’s vocals that consist of his pre and post-transition voice as he embraces his journey of self-discovery and shares his special story full of hope and resilience. With his striking voice, Adam once again turns a cover into a brand-new song with his signature touch.

Adam previously teased “Airplanes” on TikTok in 2021; however, it featured his pre-transition voice at the time. Following his hormone therapy, his community voted to make the track his next single. “Airplanes” is an impressive duet with Adam’s former self and is a mash-up of the old Adam and the new Adam. It offers a clear message: “If you have a wish, never let it go. Chase it until you reach it. Listen closely to your wishes. Then you’ll know who you truly are and what you truly want in life. Don’t you ever doubt them. Make them come true.”, elaborates Adam.
