If you want to get into contact with me, the best way to do it is on Instagram. If you just want to say what up, if you want to tell me you love my videos, you can tell me that you hate my videos but the best way to do that is on Instagram. Peace y’all, Jonny Fastlane here. So, some new DMX music has dropped. Let's talk hip-hop.

Peace y'all it's your boy Johnny Fastlane here. So on Friday a new DMX song came out called know ‘Know What I Am’ right but apparently it's a fake song and it's not a real DMX song.

So here's the whole situation right - one of X’s producers came out and he said that the song is unauthorized and it's not released by DMX’s estate or the people that own his music right? What he's saying is that this has been put out by some company and what they did was they used vocals from the Redemption of the Beast album, which is DMX’s album from back in 2014. They repurposed the vocals and put it on a new beat with some rock and roll beat, and then they put it out.

He also said that things are the same people that promoted a fake DMX song with Bootsy Collins, and they released a fake greatest hits album from DMX, which is not the authorized greatest hits album from Universal Music.

But it's kind of weird because my question is, well, how are these people able to put out all this material? Do they own it? Do they have some kind of stake in DMX’s music? Do they have permission to do that because the songs are on Apple Music and Spotify and TIDAL and everything right? It's officially out.

And then also, wouldn this be happening if DMX was still alive? But what would that say about the release of the songs if it's fake or unauthorized or not? Right?

So those are my questions and then also like people like Swizz Beatz haven't said anything, so I really don't know right? Let me know what you think about this in the comments.
