It’s a chin up and grind time for Houston rap artist Saxkboy KD in 2024. So what better way to get into the zone than zoning out with an anthem like the ‘All Doves’ music video?
It’s about self-reflection and pushing forward even when the obstacles seem sky-high. Peep the details and embrace the Houston rap artist’s cinematic presentation.
Houston-born rapper SaxkBoy KD is primed to take flight with his new single and music video, “All Doves,” released today via Cash Money Records. Available at all digital partners now HERE.
Backed by a head-nodding energetic production, SaxkBoy KD showcases the depth of his dynamic style and his melodic wordplay “All Doves” is another infectious song with an irresistible chorus similar to his previous single, “Spells” featuring Taylor Richard. The accompanying “All Doves” visual displays different sides of his multifaceted personality. Watch HERE.
Since signing with Cash Money last year, KD continues to captivate new audiences and builds momentum with each release. “Spells” received plugs from Sheen Magazine and HipHopSince1987 and is starting to get traction on DSPs. In 2023 he also released “Candy (Sweet & Juicy)” featuring Lah Pat as well as a collaborative EP with fellow H-Town rapper That Mexican OT, The Show Must Go On. The EP has amassed 11M+ global streams and the official video for the lead single, "Just Talking" recently surpassed 1M+ views. The critically acclaimed EP and singles have earned co-signs from All Hip Hop, Hype Magazine, Remixed Magazine, Dirty Glove Bastard, and more. SaxkBoy KD also dropped a Chopped and Screwed Version of the EP produced by Houston's own, the legendary OG Ron C The Show Must Go On: Chopped Not Slopped.
About Saxkboy KD
Saxkboy KD ignites a blaze amidst new hip-hop hopefuls. His melodic drawl a familiar but rebellious rendition of Deep South storytelling, is reminiscent of the late 80s legends of “Dirty Souf” rappers UGK. His moniker, Saxkboy KD, naturally came from a reputation of always having sacks cash on him and an abbreviation of his actual name.
High stepping into manhood, Saxkboy KD has already lived a life that rivals most urban fiction. Born at the family reunion in Jasper, Texas, he was destined to be a musically inclined child rocking front porches and living rooms since he was seven while vibing with family and friends to old school RnB hits and soul jams. Some of Saxkboy KD’s earliest Hip-Hop influences were already legends including Ice Cube & Snoop Dogg, 2Pac and the Wu-Tang Clan. Their lyrics began to hold new meaning as Saxkboy KD’s life hit hardest during adolescence.

If you just want to say what up, if you want to tell me you love my videos - you can tell me that you hate my videos but the best way to do that is on Instagram. Peace y’all, Jonny Fastlane here. So, unfortunately, Snootie Wild has passed away. Let’s talk hip-hop.
For y’all that don’t know, Snootie Wild is a rapper from Memphis. He came out with that song a couple years ago, ‘All I know is yayo.’ I think he might have been signed to Yo Gotti back in the day. The whole situation though is that he was in the South Side of Houston on Friday night and all this is on surveillance footage. The cops already know what happened, they just don’t know who did it.
But they saw Snootie Wild kind of back up into an alley by a mistake. Not even on purpose or nothing like that, maybe he was lost or trying to get his footing or whatever. A car pulls up and some dudes get out and they start talking to him and they’re like, ‘Yo, what’s going on?’
Then one of the guys just shoots Snootie Wild in the neck as he’s sitting in his car and they get up out of there. Snootie Wild ends up getting out of his car, I guess he was stumbling and he ends up falling in a ditch in that alley and then that’s where the cops found him.
He was still alive when the cops found him. He had got shot in the neck, they had took him to the hospital and he was in critical condition. So all day people were like ‘R.I.P. Snootie Wild’ and then a statement was actually shared by his management. They came out on Facebook and said, ‘Yo, Snootie Wild is not dead. But he is fighting for his life. Out of respect for the family, please refrain from sharing anything that is not communicated through his official accounts. Thank you.’
We were hoping he would pull through but unfortunately he succumbed to his gunshot wounds. So this is sad. He had a family. He had plans for today.
He was only 36 years old. My condolences go out to his family and all his peoples. This situation is crazy but let me know what y’all think about this in the comments.

Meg Thee Stallion's mind's made up for the World Series
It’s a no-brainer - Megan Thee Stallion ‘has’ to be a Houston Astros fan, right? Well - in all honesty fans are super unpredictable, just look at how many New Yorkers are Dallas Cowboys fans and how many Atlanta folks root for the New York Knicks when they visit their Hawks?
