Chitana: The Chicago native provides it's his 'Turn' in the new music video

Chicago going hard in 2024? You better believe it. Turns out rap artist Chitana is going for more than acclaim and proves it with his newly released ‘My Turn’ music video.

The song goes hard but how about having the visual statement, too? A much-needed new tune and mighty return? Say less.

Chicago native and Paper Route Empire signee Chitana returns from his three-year hiatus with his brand new single “My Turn,” out now via Paper Route Empire. This single comes from his forthcoming project, Explain Through The Pain, due later this year. Rhyming with a lilting melody, Chitana (pronounced shy-tana) searches for a way to feed his family, provide for his friends, and escaping his dangerous neighborhood: "N****s dyin' young, a lot of sh*t done changed/Gotta ride with one, just to make it safe/Man I miss them days when you were real with me/But I know you in heaven, watchin' over me," he mourns. In the video, ChiTana mingles with his community, patronizing local businesses and making sure his friends know he has their backs.

Signed to Paper Route Empire by Young Dolph himself, Chitana brings a different flavor to the label's formidable roster.
