Rising North Carolina based singer/songwriter, Natalie Carr, is prepared to release her new single and music video for “Drive.’ “Drive” will be available on all streaming platforms.

“Drive” marks the first release for Carr since recently signing with Grammy Award-winning producer, Dallas Austin’s newly launched company, DAD. Music distributor Symphonic Distribution partnered with Austin to launch Dallas Austin Distribution (DAD). Symphonic distribution is an independent digital music distribution and marketing company which was established in 2006. The companies mission is to empower diverse music communities across the globe.

“Natalie has such huge potential. There’s not a lot of artists in her lane, that can touch her pen-game. I had the chance to sit down with Mike & J-Mac recently in my studio in Atlanta, and heard a lot of her unreleased music that’s crazy! I’m excited about our collaboration; and what’s come,” shares Austin.

Equally thrilled with the new partnership, Carr had this to share, “It’s a dream come true to work with Dallas and his team. As a songwriter, I’ve looked up to Dallas and his contemporaries since I was a kid. He’s both penned and produced some of my favorite records of all time and I know my younger self would be proud, if not in disbelief. I can’t wait to grow from this experience and release my favorite music.”

'Drive' is a fierce, emotionally charged, edgy pop power ballad. The song details the tumultuous end of a push-and-pull relationship. The dreamy piano production builds to a distorted, guitar-driven bridge with intricate vocal production throughout. I wrote “Drive” about a toxic relationship I was in— the classic “can’t live with you, can’t live without you” narrative.”

Natalie’s management company, Fourth Quarter Time,  is fronted by the aforementioned Michael Ramsey and John McCall.  Ramsey had this to share, "I'm super excited to be collaborating with D.A.D. I think working with a legend like Dallas Austin, with his music business acumen, should be a win all across the board. Being that he's a producer/songwriter, I feel that he will make sure that the artists will be taken care of - the music comes first - making the collaboration right up Fourth Quarter Time's alley!”

McCall shared, "As a fellow music producer, it's an amazing feeling to be working with a company like D.A.D., led by such an accomplished music producer & songwriter. Dallas has championed many sounds of my musical upbringing, and inspired my approach for making music. His entrepreneurial success in the music industry is equally as impressive as the tunes themselves. A lot of my career goals are in line with those that he's already accomplished. For him to recognize Natalie's talent, and how we are running our company, truly gives us the confidence that we are on the right track. With his help, we feel the sky's the limit!"
