The single goes dumb but seeing this music video? Add in Maxo Kream and the wrestling them? Super tough. Peep the details and get pumped.

Impressing with his raw rhyme skills and Texas-sized charisma, That Mexican OT is having a breakout year. The Bay City, Texas native continues his red hot summer, teaming up with fellow Texas native Maxo Kream to release the music video for "Opp Or 2." A creeping slice of Texas trap, produced by Jonnyshipes, Freek van Workum, ItsNicklus, and Young Hollywood, "Opp Or 2" brings out best in both Lone Star State slick talker, as OT rolls his r's with aplomb and Maxo rocks his sturdy duple meter flow. In the video, directed by D Green Filmz, OT and Maxo jump into the ring, masking up to become the fiercest Lucha Libre wrestlers on either side of the Rio Grande. The two Houston-area heavyweights show off some impressive high-flying moves, as they earn their championship belt.

"Opp Or 2" is a highlight from OT's brand new album
Lonestar Luchador, recently acclaimed by Pitchfork (7.5). A concept album that draws parallels between the rap game and the high-flying world of Mexican wrestling, Lonestar Luchador is an ambitious effort that incorporates a world of wide-ranging influences and sharp pop cultural references into OT's Texas-fried sound. Home to OT's Billboard Hot 100 hit "Johnny Dang," which has generated over 67 million streams across platform including 8 million just last week, plus additional highlights like the bi-lingual banger "Barrio" ft. Lefty SM, the melodic and guitar-inflected revenge anthem "Breannan," and the villainesque stomper "Cowboy Killer," Lonestar Luchador is quickly climbing charts, reaching #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and climbing 35 spots on the Billboard 200 to reach a new peak of #71. Featuring additional guest appearances from BigXThaPlug and Big Yavo, Lonestar Luchador is available everywhere via Manifest/GoodTalk/Good Money Global.

Lonestar Luchador arrived hot on the heels of "Johnny Dang," That Mexican OT's breakout hit, released earlier this summer. First gathering heat as a snippet on TikTok and Instagram (generating over 11 million views across the two platforms), "Johnny Dang" has become a sensation, garnering over 29 million Spotify streams and 17 million YouTube views since its late-May release. The Paul Wall and Drodi-featuring song has spent weeks in the top ten of Spotify's U.S. Viral 50 chart, and just this week, hit a new #79 peak on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Johnny Dang” also currently sits at No. 19 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs and at No. 27 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. OT's "From The Ranch" version of "Johnny Dang" recently caught viral traction on Twitter, inspiring "From The Block" filmmaker AZae to bring OT back for a second "From The Ranch," this time for a performance of "Cowboy Killer."

Last week, That Mexican OT announced the "
Lonestar Luchador Tour." Commencing on September 10th in Denver, CO, the "Lonestar Luchador Tour" criss-crosses the country for 19 dates, stopping in New York (S.O.B.'s), Atlanta (Vinyl), and Los Angeles (The Echo) before concluding in Oakland on October 4th. Featuring support from OT's "Johnny Dang" co-pilot Drodi, the tour promises the first-ever performances of songs from OT's brand new album Lonestar Luchador.
