Summer love in the spring? It’s possible. Just leave it up to crooner Riovaz for setting moods with his signature voice and focus on l-o-v-e as heard and see with the ‘I Wonder’ music video.

Riovaz: The 'crying at the Orgy' music video is dark and sexy as hell

Low-key and high-key? Riovaz is easily one of my favorite new artists in The Culture right now. His signature sound is solid but his knack for releasing fire music videos like the new ‘crying at the Orgy’ visual? Must-see, of course.

Low-key and high-key? Riovaz is easily one of my favorite new artists in The Culture right now. His signature sound is solid but his knack for releasing fire music videos like the new ‘crying at the Orgy’ visual? Must-see, of course.

His love for keeping the focus on baddies while letting his emotions run wild? Insanely fun. Peep the details and keep scrolling to get into the cinematic zone.

Fresh off his sold-out headline “Riorave: Disturb the Norm II Tour,” enigmatic artist Riovaz shares a fresh sonic masterpiece titled, “crying at the Orgy.” The mesmerizing track defies convention, pulling you into a dimension where glitchy soundscapes and hypnotic rhythms reign supreme. The track feels like a whisper to your soul, luring you into an ethereal trance-like state. Of the track, Rio shares “’crying at the Orgy’ is not like any song I’ve ever made before. This is the sound I’m truly trying to embody along with the visuals. I’m just trying to show everybody my world.” Listen HERE via Darkroom/Geffen Records. In the video directed by Tommy Kiljoy, the beginning visuals parallel the cult classic public access call-in TV show “rAw TiMe,” hosted by the iconic goth princess, Tinarina. “rAw TiMe” was a forum for the niche music listeners of the 90’s, as Tinarina would sarcastically mock the call-in requests and unapologetically “only play stuff for the real weirdos.” The visual narrative quickly unfolds, and the subdued lighting with the glitchy, gloomy effects and shadow play accentuate the emotional depth of the track. Watch HERE.

Prior to “crying at the Orgy” Rio shared “the Rake (can’t complain)” – an angsty track with intimate lyrics and rapid-fire percussion changes. It rapidly grew to become highly anticipated amongst his fans and the snippet became one of the top 1% of videos to grow across TikTok. Additionally, it racked up nearly 9 million views, 6.7K "creates," and more than 1.3M likes. This year he also shared “Waiting alonE,” which received praise and continued support from Billboard, Remezcla, Ones To Watch, and more.

It’s already been an exciting year for the up-and-comer. Riovaz has been on a thrilling adventure, crisscrossing the map and setting stages ablaze with his unforgettable performances. He kicked off his first headlining, sold out, RIORAVE tour and performed to wild crowds in Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta, and New York before finishing up in Chicago. He then made his way overseas for three additional shows and this summer performed at Pharrell Williams’ Something In The Water.  In the fall, he continued on the second leg of his sold-out tour. Fans were able to soak in the pulsating magic of his viral hits including “Tantrum (Pace Yourself),” the skaiwater-assisted “Hypnotized,” “U Neva,” “Can’t Keep Myself Intact,” and more. With a growing fan base and solid shows echoing his music prowess, the journey is far from over – brace yourself for more Riovaz.
