The video for “U Know What To Do” arrives as Sexyy concludes her final days of her “Sexyy Red 4 President Tour,” her second headlining tour. Featuring multiple sold out dates, the tour was the biggest event in hip-hop over the summer, welcoming A-List special guests, including Kodak Black for multiple dates, Gucci Mane, Lil Durk, Boosie Badazz, and YTB Fatt in her hometown of St. Louis, and Ice Spice and Cash Cobain in New York City. With this summer's Hood Hottest Princess mixtape, Sexyy Red established herself as the most exciting rising artist in music today. Never one to stop working, the St. Louis native shares a brand new video for "Free My N****a," her new single. "Free My N***a" is a brash and infectious banger, as Sexyy makes an impassioned plea to law enforcement to let her baby daddy come home. In the video, directed by Jerry Morka and Laka of No More Heroes, Sexyy takes matters into her own hands, turning the tables on the police and breaking into the local prison, nearly starting a riot as she extracts her boo from the slammer.
A cut from the upcoming Hood Hottest Princess (Deluxe), "Free My N***a" adds an exclamation mark to Sexyy's breakout 2023, marked by sold out dates, Hot 100-charting hits, and superstar co-signs. Sexyy's viral rise quickly fomented success on the touring front. After a viral performance at Rolling Loud Miami, Sexyy Red earned an invitation to open on tour for her biggest fan, Drake, during his "It's All A Blur Tour" with 21 Savage. Sexyy's first headlining tour, the "Hood Hottest Princess Tour," sold out many dates within minutes of its initial onsale, including a 3,000-cap show in NYC and a 4,850-cap show in Chicago. The tour criss-crossed the U.S. for dozens of dates–including 24 sold out dates–including a massive sold out hometown show at the 8,000-capacity Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. In all, Sexyy's first-ever headlining show sold an estimated 70k tickets, making her one of the hottest draws in the genre in 2023.

Following a scorching, hot run with the three-pack EP CALL DA FIREMAN, DaBaby (South Coast Music Group/Interscope Records) has returned to keep fans moving with “SHAKE SUMN (Remix)” featuring Sexyy Red. DaBaby and Sexyy Red take center stage for the remix as they trade raunchy bars over the Charlie Heat-produced record.
The fun continues in the official music video directed by DaBaby, where guest star Gianni Paola from STARZ’s Power Book II: Ghost is held hostage by Sexyy Red and her rump-shaking cohorts. The satin durag-clad actor seems scared for his life while in the clutches of Red but ends up turning up with her crew while DaBaby plays a fireman attempting to cool off the hot scene.
The visuals for the remix come after the releases of the music videos for “SELLIN CRACK” featuring Offset and the original “SHAKE SUMN.” For “SELLIN CRACK,” Dababy and Offset recreated scenes from the classic film New Jack City while “SHAKE SUMN” had the Grammy Award-winner taking up shop in an abandoned warehouse for an all-out dance party.
DaBaby’s “SHAKE SUMN” is the lead single off his latest EP, CALL DA FIREMAN, which was released in May. With a total of 64 million U.S. streams, the single has been a force to be reckoned with on the Billboard charts. It peaked at No. 13, No. 21, and No. 69 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and Hot 100 charts, respectively. The record has also hit new peaks in several charts, including Urban Airplay at No.16, R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay at No. 19, and Rhythmic Airplay at No. 24. The original version of “SHAKE SUMN” has also landed in the Top 15 of the Urban Mainstream radio chart by taking sole possession of the No. 14 spot.
DaBaby has also been busy on the promotional circuit for “SHAKE SUMN” as he hit the red carpet at the 2023 BET Awards in June and is currently on a club promo run, making his way to various nightlife spots across the country to promote the hit record.
