PaperRoute Woo: The 'UHUH UHUH' music video turns a mugshot nightmare into the ultimate flex

What, PaperRoute Woo worry? Definitely not. So it’s all types of turning up from a jail setting for the rap star - or maybe things aren’t what they seem?

What, PaperRoute Woo worry? Definitely not. So it’s all types of turning up from a jail setting for the rap star - or maybe things aren’t what they seem?

Only one way to find out, right? Kick back and watch PaperRoute Woo light up the cinematic flex.

Telling street stories and tough-talking tales through his music, Paper Route Woo is one of the realest rappers in Memphis. Today, he shares “UHUH UHUH,” his new single and music video. Over bass-bumping production from PRE’s own Bandplay, the Paper Route Empire rapper casually spits about his big-spender habits, ability to win over women, and how he deals with the haters: “Baby I don’t want your love ‘cuz it’s counterfeit / Take her shopping, rub her feet, do romantic sh*t / I get money, but I’m bored, she can’t stand that sh*t / I can pop it everyday, I’m God, but I don’t got nothin’ to prove.” In the 2BrosFilm-directed video, Woo shoots dice with his crew in a Memphis alley between clips of him trapping from a jail cell, letting nothing come between him and his money, even if he’s behind bars.

“UHUH UHUH” follows up Paper Route Woo’s late summer anthem “Bubblegum.” Both singles will appear on the Memphis rapper’s upcoming project Slime Dunkin’, set to arrive later this year. Featuring a cover inspired by his mentor Young Dolph's first mixtape (Paper Route Campaign), Slime Dunkin’ will be Woo’s first project since BOYZ IN THE HOOD, his 2022 collaborative project with fellow PRE hotshot SNUPE BANDZ. Even before BOYZ IN THE HOOD, Paper Route Woo had been making a name for himself in the Memphis rap game, dating back to 2020 with "In My Bag" and continuing through 2021's "Pop Out," which drew 2 million YouTube views. He also joined his mentor Young Dolph on "Nothing To Me," a standout single from the 2021 PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi mixtape, generating over 10 million views.

With Slime Dunkin’ on the way, keep your eyes on Paper Route Woo as he looks to make 2024 his biggest year yet.
