Before he sadly passed away at the age of 27, after to succumbing to Coronavirus symptoms in May of 2020, Kiing Shooter was well on his way to fulfilling his dreams.
At the time of his death, Kiing Shooter was signed to Nas’ Mass Appeal Records/Street Dreams and prepping his debut album for the imprint Still Outside; which came on the heels of his guest feature (“Traumatized”) on Dave East’s (who was also his best friend) Karma 2 project. The single peaked at #48 on the Billboard 200 in 2018.
Upon Shooter’s passing, Nas memorialized him “You made your mark and got your wings” Nas commented. “From QB to Heaven, the world in between. What a pleasure to have you in our lives, in this world, in our world. We shared our street dreams.”
On 6-17-22, Kiing Shooter will be releasing a new EP, I Am Kiing, and today the first single, “Blocc Spin,” featuring Vado from the project was released. I Am Kiing will be released in conjunction with Dave East’s FTD imprin
