The new 'Rosaline' trailer reminds you the best movies might be at-home

Of course the ‘best’ movies are also at the big screen, but having the choice between going to a jam-packed movie or falling back a couple days while getting to have the same type of big screen fun in the comfort of your 70-inch 4K TV? Hulu is making it tough for people to want to go to the theaters when serving up quality content like its upcoming Rosaline.

Teens will love it. Date Night approval pending. Adults can appreciate it and get some laughs. There’s really no demographic Rosaline doesn’t find a connection with. Peep the details and keep scrolling for the full-fledged trailer.

The trailer and poster are now available for 20th Century Studios’ romantic comedy “Rosaline,” starring Kaitlyn Dever, Isabela Merced, Kyle Allen and Sean Teale with Minnie Driver and Bradley Whitford. The film will debut on October 14 exclusively as a Hulu Original in the U.S., Star+ Original in Latin America and Star Original on Disney+ in other territories.

“Rosaline” is a fresh and comedic twist on Shakespeare’s classic love story “Romeo & Juliet,” told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline (Dever), who also happens to be Romeo’s recent love interest. Heartbroken when Romeo (Allen) meets Juliet (Merced) and begins to pursue her, Rosaline schemes to foil the famous romance and win back her guy.

“Rosaline” was directed by Karen Maine from a screenplay by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber, based on the novel “When You Were Mine” by Rebecca Serle. Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Dan Levine are the producers, with Kaitlin Dever, Scott Neustadter, Michael H. Weber, Whitney Brown, Emily Morris and Becca Edelman serving as executive producers.
