Toosii: It's game-changing time with plans to have the top hip-hop song of the year

Rap crooner Toosii is ready to be game-changing. The hip-hop crooner has stepped up to speak on having an interest in securing the top hip-hop song of the year.

The hitmaker pulled up on Sirius XM/Pandora in Atlanta to dish on everything from music-making to contributing to the culture. Peep the details and keep scrolling for the full video.

One of hip-hop’s hottest acts, Toosii, recently visited the SXM/Pandora office in Atlanta, Georgia stating he wants the first number-one record in hip-hop this year. Toosii arguably has one of the biggest songs of 2023 with “Favorite Song” and wants that single to give hip-hop its first number-one record this year.

He sat down with SXM/Pandora social media specialist Morgz to discuss his latest project Naujor, being homeless at one point in his life, fatherhood, and artist development. He also gave flowers and credit to artist/songwriter Ivory Scott, who was in the audience, for his help on the album. Sirius XM/Pandora Vice President of Music Programming and the event’s producer Joshua “J1” Raiford, presented Toosii with the SXM/Pandora “Hip Hop 50th Anniversary Rising Star Award.”

J1 stated “I met Toosii almost four or five years ago shortly after he signed with South Coast Music Group, I knew then he was special. He is a great example of artist development as he and his team worked hard, built relationships, honed his sound, and grew his audience. So when Toosii got his hit “Favorite Song” he was ready with everything that came with it, the foundation had been laid. I was honored to present him with the “Rising Star” award.

Those in attendance were the likes of DJs, college students, fans of Sirius XM and Pandora Now, social media influencers, and brand company representatives.
