wolfacejoeyy: The New York native goes the cinematic route with a 'finsta' music video

Need more wolfacejoeyy in your life right about now? Say less. The hitmaker keeps coming through with fire content and proves it courtesy of a new ‘finsta’ music video.

The song is audio flames but getting the cameras rolling for this visual? Super tough. Tap in.

Combining underground influences into a breezy and melodic package, wolfacejoeyy is using his melodic charm to make major waves in the rap game. Recruiting some beautiful friends for a classic Brooklyn summer evening, the 21-year-old artist shares the video for "finsta," his latest single. Released in June as part of a double single, alongside "bia," "finsta" is a smooth depiction of modern love, as joeyy flirts his way onto his intended's close friends Instagram list, and attempts to grow more involved in her digital life: "Put me in a picture, I wanna know the real you/Can I get your finsta,” he lilts. In the video, joeyy brings four of his most attractive friends to Bushwick, as he opens up the fire hydrant and dances through a colorful, brownstone-laden block.

“finsta/bia” are Wolfacejoeyy’s latest singles following the release of his debut album Valentino. The album is home to the viral hit "cake," along with acclaimed singles like the heartfelt "don't be dishonest," and "I Know," produced by WhereIs22. "cake" has quickly become a fan-favorite, generating over 160K combined views across social platforms before its official release, earning co-signs from stars like Sexyy RedRubi Rose, Veeze, and Kaliii on social media. The song has inspired more than 55.1k video creations on TikTok. The flirty music video for "cake" recently surpassed 4.8 million views on YouTube, becoming joeyy's most-viewed video to date. Featuring additional production from Synthetic and many others, Valentino is available now on all platforms.

With a new project under his belt, joeyy is aiming to improve upon his breakout 2023, in which he partnered with Whereis22, on the acclaimed EP 22Joeyy. The album featured the single “weekend” ft. Cash Cobain & Chow Lee, acclaimed by Pitchfork, and additional guest spots from SoFaygo and B-Lovee. Joeyy discussed the project in an interview with BET, and a profile in HYPEBEAST that came out earlier this year, and his fiery 2023 inspired Complex to place him on their list of Rappers to Watch in 2024. After the success of 22Joeyy, joeyy kept the train rolling, opening for Eem Triplin on tour, throwing a headlining show earlier this year at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, and delivering a standout performance at Rolling Loud California 2024. joeyy is currently on tour with 4Batz as the OVO artist's direct support.

With over 1 million streams per week on his catalog, joeyy is turning heads, ready to solidify his spot as NYC's next up. Stay tuned for more.
