Young T & Bugsey: It's a complete dance and party vibe in the 'Soca' music video

I am here for all the positive and fun vibes - only. So it’s no surprise Young T and Bugsey have me more than covered courtesy of their hard-hitting ‘Soca’ anthem.

The song goes hard but getting a full-fledged visual from a house party setting? Summer goals rocking. Embrace the visual flex.

Nottingham rap duo Young T & Bugsey turn up the summer heat with their new single, "SOCA." "SOCA" is a carnival-infused anthem co-produced by Young T and Eyes that intends to raise spirits, feed the soul, and make people dance. “SOCA” is a blend of different cultural sonics with the head-knocking elements of Brazilian funk in the beat, the Nigerian pidgin delivery verse from Bugsey and the infectious Carribean Calypso’esque hook and verse from Young. The duo's return after their brief hiatus is exactly what the scene needed, infusing it with renewed energy. Their constant stream of songs, including "Dundee" and "Been A Minute," has provided the perfect soundtrack for the past few months. To celebrate the release, they invited some supporters to TOCA Social for an exclusive listening session of unreleased music and a chance to compete against the duo.

Young T & Bugsey are Mobo award-winning and Brit-nominated artists with an extensive discography filled with chart-topping hits like "4x4," "Gangland," "Ay Caramba," "Strike a Pose," and the iconic "Don’t Rush." What many don't know is that T is the creative force behind “AyCaramba,” “Strike a Pose,” “Gangland,” and “Big Business.” Known for their collaborative spirit, they have teamed up with esteemed artists such as Headie One, Aitch, BLXST, and Fredo, resulting in a string of platinum-certified and top-10 singles that solidify their status as trailblazers in the UK music scene. Recently, Bugsey celebrated the long-awaited attainment of UK citizenship and the arrival of his son, marking profound milestones in his life. Meanwhile, Young T, a proud father to his 6-year-old daughter, continues to craft exceptional beats, driven by a passion to showcase their talents to the world. As they prepare to release new music this year, the duo has been spotted in the front row at London Fashion Week for designers such as Labrum, Ahluwalia, and Robyn Lynch.

Meeting at the age of 15, Young T & Bugsey began a remarkable journey together, supporting each other through every twist and turn in both their professional and personal lives. They are deeply grateful to their community, especially the youth clubs in Nottingham, which played a crucial role in their development. In a heartfelt gesture, they organised a 'Back To School' event in September 2023, providing essential school supplies to children in their local area. Continuing their journey with gratitude, Young T & Bugsey aspire to extend their impact beyond music, aiming to inspire others with positivity and success. In 2024, they seek to redefine the role of artists by offering a fresh perspective on creativity and success in the modern world. This year, after a brief hiatus, they returned with tracks like "Been A Minute," "Dundee," and "SOCA," marking the beginning of "the next phase." They have garnered significant support from BBC 1Xtra's Eddie Kadi, Capital Xtra's DJ Semtex and Manny Norte, and Apple Music's Charlie Sloth.
