YSB Tril + Kill Jasper unload 'Brand New'

It was just a few days ago when YSB Tril and Kill Jasper hit the green light on dropping their ‘Brand New’ anthem to the masses. Fortunately we didn’t have to wait for the holidays to officially arrive before receiving the song’s visual treat.

The duo waste nearly zip-zero time and unleash their must-see ‘Brand New’ music video to the masses. Peep the visual below and keep scrolling for more details.

Following the release of his debut mixtape HOTSHOT, rising rookie YSB Tril (LISTEN TO THE KIDS/Interscope Records) dashes back with his new video “Brand New.” Directed by Coretin Leroux, Tril and Jasper morph into virtual characters who catch the attention of a young fan. As she continues to marvel at their swagger and melodious flows from afar, she gets the surprise of her life when Tril jumps from the virtual universe back into reality to take her away.

This year, Tril has garnered success with his previously released singles "AIN’T THE SAME" (2.6 million global audio streams) and "TOUCHDOWN," (11.6 million global audio streams) featuring Bankrol Hayden. The former became a popular song in the sports world after the NBA and Toronto Raptors used it before tip-off during the regular season. As part of his mixtape release, Tril performed "ALL DA ACTION" and "HOTSHOT" last week for the Toronto Ultra halftime show. To date, Tril’s HOTSHOT project is over 27 million streams. Tril also enjoyed success with the release of his record “Count Me In,” which was featured on the popular football video game franchise Madden.

So far in his career, the rising rookie showcased his versatility and rock-solid work ethic, amassing his streaming totals to a whopping five million independently. Last year, Tril earned him a performance slot for NBA #2KFest celebration. Tri's rapid ascension equally enthuses publications. GrungeCake lauded the young hyphenate for his "undeniably catchy, singsongy hook and fast-paced verses" on "Do It Most." Flaunt Magazine highlighted Tril's action-packed video "ALL DA ACTION" and dubbed him "a force to be reckoned with." Lyrical Lemonade applauded Tril for having a "natural and effortless flow you cannot teach."
