Following the release of his debut mixtape HOTSHOT, rising rookie YSB Tril (LISTEN TO THE KIDS/Interscope Records) dashes back with his new video “Brand New.” Directed by Coretin Leroux, Tril and Jasper morph into virtual characters who catch the attention of a young fan. As she continues to marvel at their swagger and melodious flows from afar, she gets the surprise of her life when Tril jumps from the virtual universe back into reality to take her away.
This year, Tril has garnered success with his previously released singles "AIN’T THE SAME" (2.6 million global audio streams) and "TOUCHDOWN," (11.6 million global audio streams) featuring Bankrol Hayden. The former became a popular song in the sports world after the NBA and Toronto Raptors used it before tip-off during the regular season. As part of his mixtape release, Tril performed "ALL DA ACTION" and "HOTSHOT" last week for the Toronto Ultra halftime show. To date, Tril’s HOTSHOT project is over 27 million streams.
