Fandango, the nation’s leading online movie ticketing service, announced the results of its 2024 Most Anticipated Holiday Movies Survey today, with many exciting new releases heading to theaters for fans to enjoy. In a survey of more than 2,000 ticket buyers, Fandango found that over 80% of moviegoers are planning to watch at least one film in theaters during this festive time of year.

According to Fandango’s latest survey, “Glicked” might be the answer, with Wicked andGladiator II both opening in theaters on November 22nd. Could these two films be the next theatrical double feature powerhouse – with nearly 65% of moviegoers interested in seeing both films saying they would like to see a “double feature” during the opening weekend in theaters.

Today, Apple TV+ announced the premiere date for the new conspiracy thriller “Prime Target” starring SAG Award winner Leo Woodall (“The White Lotus,” “One Day”) and Quintessa Swindell (“Black Adam,” “In Treatment”). Created by award-winning writer Steve Thompson (“Sherlock,” “Vienna Blood”) who also serves as executive producer, the new drama is produced for Apple TV+ by New Regency with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions. The eight episode series will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on January 22, 2025, with the first two episodes, followed by one episode weekly, every Wednesday through March 5, 2025.
“Prime Target” features a brilliant young math postgraduate, Edward Brooks (played by Woodall), on the verge of a major breakthrough. If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will hold the key to every computer in the world. Soon he begins to realize an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born, which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders, a female NSA agent (played by Swindell) who’s been tasked with watching and reporting on mathematicians' behavior. Together they start to unravel the troubling conspiracy Edward is at the heart of.
