Is there anything 50 Cent is working on these days which isn’t slapping? Turns out it’s bigger than Hollywood for the music mogul and he’s proving it with the podcast game as his ‘Surviving El Chapo’ series runs it back next month.

50 Cent’s ‘Surviving El Chapo’ is back-back October 4

Start the countdown because months after lighting up the world with his podcast presence, Curtis Jackson returns with the continuation of the G-Unit Audio/Lionsgate Sound and iHeartPodcasts production with ‘Surviving El Chapo’ locked in for early October.

After billions of dollars and thousands of decisions made over decades as powerful drug traffickers, Jay and Pete Flores are now free and living a new life, but their incredible story is not over. Every time the twin brothers seem to turn a corner, the consequences of their decision to cooperate with law enforcement come back to haunt them. It was not just their lives that were turned upside down by their decision, but their whole families’ – including the twins’ wives who are now in the shadow of a looming prison sentence.

Produced by Lionsgate Sound and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s G-Unit Audio in collaboration with iHeartPodcasts, the new season of “Surviving El Chapo” drops October 4, 2023.

WHERE WE LEFT OFF… In the previous season, available now on all podcast platforms, Chicago-born identical twins Jay and Peter Flores shared the incredible story of how they went from dealing $2 billion worth of drugs across the country as North America’s most successful cocaine traffickers to government informants who brought down the infamous drug lord, “El Chapo.”

IN SEASON TWO … The new episodes will delve deeper into the twins’ astonishing story and the fallout affecting the people around them after they were faced with a choice: essentially become El Chapo or change their lives forever and cooperate against him. From their wives to their children, their decision to go to the cops drastically changed the lives of everyone around them. The twins will reveal for the first time what really happened during their years of cooperation to get El Chapo behind bars, what it was like to come face-to-face with the powerful drug lord, in court, and their rocky 14-year prison journey.

HOSTS: Award-winning artist and producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and broadcaster and investigative journalist Charlie Webster serve as executive producers and co-hosts of this podcast.

WHEN: The new season of the podcast premieres October 4 with new episodes dropping weekly on Wednesdays.
