Babylon: The new Digital HD and 4K Ultra HD is Tarantino meets Scorsese
If you’re looking for something new and different, or fellas if you want to see Margot Robbie and ladies if you just want to see Brad Pitt, Babylon is finally here on digital platforms. In what can only be seen as Quentin Tarantino meets Martin Scorsese, Babylon is one you should step out of your comfort zone to watch. Here’s your breakdown as to why it’s a must own.
Here’s five reasons you should add Babylon to your must-own collection:
The Art of Storytelling-This is becoming a lost art in Hollywood, Babylon takes these characters on a journey, while navigating the changing scene in movie making for Hollywood. Sit back and watch a story take you through an arc of drugs, sex, and music.
Deleted Scenes-Alright, I know you saw the run time of this one. Even with the length of the film, this makes you wonder what did not make the cut. Take a look and see if it should have made the final product or if it was the right call. Curious to see what you all think as well. I thought the Elinor conversation with the extra was pretty good if you ask me.
Costume Design-Granted this is a shorter extra, but how the designers were able to create such amazing costumes was super dope. The outfits looked like clothing in the right environment you could see people wearing today.
Margot Robbie-While you know her for her role as Harley Quinn, she just continues to crush other roles outside of the DC universe. She crushes this role as well. She just keeps knocking out these roles and hopefully the Academy will take notice.
Director Damien Chazelle-The French-American director brings another banger to the world. With films like LaLa Land and Whiplash under his belt, he brings the same energy to this film and excels yet again. If you were a fan of those two movies, you’ll definitely be in for a treat with Babylon as well.
Babylon is a great story set in the 1920s as Hollywood is looking to transition to something new and fresh. Get on your digital platform and cop this one to see how the story unfolds and how Hollywood is constantly evolving for something better, even back then. Brad Pitt is great per usual, Margot Robbie kills it yet again, give it a watch. Let me know what you think in the comments.
