Channel Tres: Barney Bones links with his high school classmate for 'Fashion Week'

Who says rap newcomers can’t crack into the Attack The Culture NEWS section? Huh? Just look at what Channel Tres and Barney Bones are cooking up these days with their hard-hitting ‘Fashion Week’ anthem.

Channel Tres and Barney Bones have a certified hit

The anthem hits extra hard - from start to finish. Needless to say, the Los Angeles rap artists really deliver with the tune and continue to let their clout get bigger.

The product of an organic creative partnership between two lifelong friends, the scorching funk-house release shows their undeniable synergy and is also the final taste before Bones’ Escapism EP via Helix Records. Born and raised in South Central, Barney Bones is a GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, vocalist, director, actor, and producer. He’s led a prolific career that’s included writing for the likes of Channel Tres, AUGUST 08, Giveon, and Gus Dapperton while also appearing as an actor on Netflix’s short-film Civic.  The forthcoming Escapism is, in part, the product of a conversation with Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly collaborator Terrace Martin who urged Barney to release his own work and go solo.
