Young Money artist Cory Gunz unleashes his new EP, Loosie Pack 2 via Young Money/Militia Music and is available to stream HERE.
Loosie Pack 2 contains seven tracks and is the second installment to the Loosie Pack mixtape series. The EP’s lead single “Scenario”, featuring Nino Man, Whispers and RMK, pays homage to A Tribe Called Quest and Leaders of the New School's classic song “Scenario.” The rappers effortlessly exchange verses on the Blac Saun and Qui3t-produced track as they put a modern spin on arguably one of biggest songs of the 1990’s hip-hop golden era. Gunz continues his hot streak of releases with “Scenario” as the song was featured playlists such as Apple Music’s Bars,The New New York and Base:Line.
Loosie Pack 2 serves as the follow up to Loosie Pack which was released in October. The EP’s lead single“Whispering”, produced by Black Saun, features veteran hip-hop artist Styles P and frequent collaboratorWhispers. The gritty-sounding track signaled Gunz’s return to the playlist rotation as “Whispering” was featured on Apple Music’s Bars, The New New York, Base:Line and Heavy Hitters.
This is just a preview of what is to come from the platinum-selling recording artist. At the top of next year, Gunz will be gearing up to release a new project containing a feature from YMCMB boss Lil Wayne (4:41 mark).
The Loosie Pack series comes off the heels of Gunz’s performance with Lil Wayne at Yankee Stadium for Hip-Hop’s 50th Anniversary. Over the course of his career, Gunz has worked with some of the music industry’s biggest artists such as Jay-Z, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Charlie Rock, Mack Maine, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Styles Pamong others.
