Multi-platinum-selling recording artist Cory Gunz releases his new song “Die Slowly,” featuring Chris Rivers. The track was released via YMCMB/Militia and can be streamed on HERE.
The beat for the song was produced by Khardier Da God and is reminiscent of the sound that dominated rap’s golden era. Cory and fellow Bronx native Chris Rivers unleash bravado bars over a nostalgic, boom bap beat. “Die Slowly” is the third single off the YMCMB signee’s upcoming mixtape Loosie Pack 3 set to drop next month, serving as the final installment of the Loosie Pack series.
The release of “Die Slowly” comes after Cory’s previously dropped songs, “Laundry,” “Rick Owens x Nike Tech”featuring Jae’won and “Redrum (Freestyle Militia Mix)”. The latter and former will both be featured on Loosie Pack 3 along with “Die Slowly” as Cory continues to feed fans street savvy lyrics over hard-hitting production.
Cory kicked off the year by paying homage to André 3000 with the video for “3 Staxx” which followed Gunz’s performance of the song on DJ Self’s show Apt. 5H where the Bronx native talked about an upcoming collab he has with YMCMB head honcho Lil Wayne. “3 Staxx” has received praise from fans and industry peers alike, and has also received placement on Spotify’s State of Mind playlist.
