DJ Chose took over VIBE's SXSW showcase

As if you really needed more reasons to head out to Austin, Texas right now. The South By Southwest festivities are in full swing and Vibe Magazine geared up for a huge showcase with help from hip-hop artist DJ Chose.

While details are still coming together, the Lone Star State native was slated to hit the stage last night with other notable music stars. Chose blessed attendees with a flurry of new tunes.

Multi-platinum, RIAA-certified artist, producer, and songwriter DJ Chose will hit the stage at VIBE Magazine's official SXSW 2022 Showcase on Wednesday, March 16, along with many other hip-hop performers.

Fresh off the wave of his viral success, the Houston, Texas artist will showcase new music from his new self-produced, 16-track album MULTI. A sonic vibe combined with real-life experiences in an upbeat antiphon, MULTI reveals the many layers of DJ Chose and his involvement in the creative process at every step.

It’s all in the Texas connection

DJ Chose recently raised eyebrows after linking with rap heavyweight Megan Thee Stallion. The duo treated fans to their hard-hitting ‘THICK’ anthem.

Charting on Hip-Hop Apple Music at #168, MULTI includes top features from Gucci Mane, Megan Thee Stallion, Yung Bleu, Fredo Bang, and more! In addition, DJ Chose dropped two official music videos, "Too Late," a song to boost one's confidence after a comeback or heartbreak, and "Prove Me Wrong."

DJ Chose is best known for his viral hit single "THICK" remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion. "THICK" became an instant online sensation topping the Hot 100 list, amassing over 2.3 billion views and more than 7 million created videos on TikTok to date.
