DJ Muggs & Mooch: It's all in the 'Roc Star' flex for the new album

Low-key? This should have ran on Friday but you know, a New York minute and time flies by when you’re having fun - so apologies Attackers but now’s better than never, right? The legend DJ Muggs teams with hip-hop artist Mooch for a full-fledged Roc Star album.

DJ Muggs and Mooch drop their ‘Roc Star’ album to the masses

It’s all types of collaborative goals and Muggs brings his signature production to Mooch’s lyrics and flows. It’s repeat-worthy and the intro really sets the entire mood.

Accomplished hip-hop producer and founding member of Cypress Hill and the Soul Assassins Collective, DJ Muggs has teamed up with Rochester emcee MOOCH to drop his latest collaborative album entitled "ROC STAR" across digital platforms via Soul Assassins Records. This dark, grimey, boom bap banger takes listeners on a journey through a city that ranks among the poorest in the entire country, as Muggs and Mooch work off each other's chemistry to produce some poetic street corner raps.

“ROC STAR” is also available on limited edition vinyl, cassette, and a deluxe version of the CD online at www.Soulassassins.com.

After creating multi-platinum mainstream hits and founding one of the most iconic hip-hop groups of all-time, DJ Muggs continues to pay it forward by working with younger emcees to usher in the next generation for culture of hip-hop. The combination of the legendary West Coast producer and the young fiery spitter has produced some classic dark sinister sounding hip-hop that has become the trademark sound of Soul Assassins brand. Fans know that when they see the Soul Assassins Records stamp on a record that it's a brand they can trust to deliver.
