Game reminds us he dropped a certified rap game classic nearly 20 years ago

West Coast rapper Game has been doing this a long time. How long? How about nearly 20 years? The former G-Unit member steps forward to reflect on the 18-year anniversary of his unforgettable The Documentary studio album dropping.

Game celebrates his ‘The Documentary’ album’s anniversary

The Los Angeles native hit up his Instagram page and didn’t hold back. Instead, Jayceon Taylor spoke on what the project meant to him.

‘18 years ago today…. A hip hop classic was born. All I wanted to do was tell my story & make sure my son would never live the life I did. @snoopdogg passed me the torch, @bustarhymes kept me focused… @drdre laid the foundation & @50cent helped put the puzzle together.

I took @jonathanmannion to the depths of Compton, California & showed him the heart of what I survived. He captured the essence of my city, my hood & brought to the world my vision.

Always remember, it is no longer a dream once it becomes reality.’
