HDBeenDope: The 'Locked In' music video is super crucial

Whether you need workout goals motivation or your favorite NBA stars are looking for a perfect pre-playoffs game theme song, HDBeenDope comes through with the visual treatment to his hard-hitting ‘Locked In’ anthem. The audio alone goes hard and now adding the cinematic flex? Much-needed.

HDBeenDope’s ‘Locked In’ has arrived

While the visual only goes a little over two minutes in length, HD makes sure you experience every second. Super big fan of what he’s served up these past few years and this newest rollout has all eyes on his grind.

Directed by Erikson Corniel, the video showcases high-energy visuals electrified with flashing lights while HD’s lyricism booms through the camera. The video flickers between a gritty Brooklyn landscape illuminated at night with graffiti walls to HD traversing his neighborhood corners to the bustling city’s bridge.

This premiere follows BET’s announcement of HDBeenDope being this month’s BET’s Amplified Artist of the Month and also builds on the massive success of his Roc Nation debut EP What Can They Say’s lead track, “Mamba” which has become an anthem being celebrated and shared by actress and entrepreneur Tia Mowry, NBA Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler, Kansas Chief Quarterback and Super Bowl Winner Patrick Mahomesand major networks like ESPN, and sports stadiums across the country. The rapper recently performed the stand-out anthem at Brooklyn Nets Halftime show.
