Homeboy Sandman’s ‘Lovin’ It’ will get you pumped for his deluxe album

Sandman delivered the big news of dropping his Anjelitu deluxe edition with the must-hear and hard-hitting tune. Barring any setbacks, the studio effort will arrive July 29 through the legendary Mello Music Group.

Sand reunites with his Lice affiliate to revitalize the acclaimed project with two bonus tracks along with the Aesop Rock-produced instrumentals. With the announcement, Homeboy Sandman unveils one of the bonus songs, “Lovin’ It.” “Lovin’ It” features poised rapping from Homeboy Sandman over Aesop Rock’s skilfully constructed production. “Lovin’ It” was recorded with GAM at GAMBODIA in May 2022.

HS has also stepped up to dish on just how much ‘Lovin’ It’ means to him. Homeboy also notes his fearlessness inspired the record.

Homeboy Sandman details the inspiration behind the new song, “I love not having any idea about all the ridiculous garbage people are talking about. I love knowing that no human being has any control over my life except for me. I love not being afraid. I love being able to think. I love being free. I'm lovin' it.”

The artwork was done by globally recognized first generation graffiti artist from NYC’s lower east side Al Diaz, who is best known for his collaboration on SAMO© with Jean-Michel Basquiat.
