Internet Money's Taz Taylor reveals '2k in the Soda' origin and admits he wants it all

Internet Money’s Taz Taylor is ready for the full takeover but until then, he’s taking the time to dish on everything being served up from his camp. The hip-hop artist has come forward to talk about his new ‘2k in the Soda’ anthem and dish on working alongside collaborator LUCKI.

Taz Taylor pulls through to Apple Music 1 with Zane Lowe

TT linked up with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe to focus on the new anthem but didn’t stop there. Taylor also revealed his love for Ken Car$on and fellow music peer Yeat.

Taz From Internet Money Tells Apple Music About The Origins of "2k in the Soda" (feat. LUCKI)...

We was just vibing in the studio honestly. Lucki is a real personable person, the same person he is on social media is the same type of person he is in real life. I’ve been a Lucki fan for a minute. I got hit with Freeway 3. I kinda already had an idea of the type of stuff I wanted him on. Cuz you know… it’s Lucki. Being in the position I’m in now I can get to whoever I want to work with right now. But it’s rare that you meet someone that’s genuine and themselves. Kevin Gates and Lucki - are the two people that like, if you listen to their interviews if you talk to them...they’re themselves. They’re not putting on a facade, they’re themselves.

Taz From Internet Money Tells Apple Music About Navigating Success and Spending Money…

I think ultimately it all comes down to your passion for things? I remember when I first started all I wanted was a gold record. I wanted my mom to have a gold record.  And then I got a gold record and realized my life wasn’t where I want it to be but my passion for music drives me through those goals for those monetary things. Like, I got a Rolls Royce, I always wanted a Rolls Royce but when I got a Rolls Royce, I was like “man this is it?"

Taz From Internet Money Tells Apple Music What He Loves About Ken Car$on...

Honesty its just pure energy. Whenever you put it on in a venue, in your car, at the gym… it gives you that extra oomph. It’s just stuff for the kids, kids really enjoy it.

They’re something to say about his melodies. The hooks, the little background stuff. If you’re really into music you notice. He’s so creative with what he does. It’s just fun
