Oct 21 It's literally Kendrick Lamar Day all-day on Apple Music Hits

It’s a full-fledged Kendrick Lamar takeover

From the morning through the late hours of Friday, Lamar is going to have all the attention placed on his legacy. From throwback anthems to getting some Lamar essentials into your life, it’s all about Kendrick.

Coinciding with the 10-year anniversary of his debut album, good kid M.A.A.D. city, Apple Music is highlighting the full catalog of the legendary rapper with a full day programming takeover on Apple Music Hits featuring an array of radio specials, DJ Mixes, and archival content. Additionally, good kid M.A.A.D city is also arriving on Apple Music in Spatial Audio. Tune in all day only on Apple Music Hits.
Things kick off on The Estelle Show with a Good Kid Special beginning at 8am PT. The first hour will feature voice notes and clips from several producers and collaborators from Kendrick’s album. Producers from the album include: Hit Boy (“Backseat Freestyle”), DJ Dahi (“Money Trees”), Just Blaze (“Compton”), Scoop Deville (“Poetic Justice”), Rahki (“Black Boy Fly”) and Top Dawg Entertainment President & “good kid…”. Hour two will be a mix of Kendrick & Friends, including his LA Hip Hop contemporaries from the “good kid” era curated by LA’s DJ Carisma.
