Kai: The world famous LA street artist is back-back in New York City

The art world keeps thriving and there’s no better announcement than finding out Los Angeles street artist Kai is gearing up for a coast to coast run to deliver his signature creations to a block near you over the next few months.

Kai’s back-back hitting Los Angeles, Detroit and New York streets

While Los Angeles and New York City can’t wait to have Kai’s presence back with the creations, it’s the streets of Detroit which should start geeking out over what he has planned before 2024 arrives.

LA-native known for his strategic use of cement and Imaginary Friend (or, “IF” as fans call him) — an affable character that’s free of religion, ethnicity or gender to convey thoughtful and emotional themes. You’ve likely seen his work at an exhibit, on a faraway wall or as part of a custom capsule collection.

The below shots are pure fire and give you a glimpse of Kai’s genius. The ambient shot is from Nika Kramer at Wynwood Walls. The internal photo is courtesy of Kai.

Kai shows in Miami every winter. His pieces live at the Saint Louis Art Museum, around Wynwood Walls and throughout the streets of Paris, Amsterdam and London.

And, he’s collaborated with artists WRDSMTH and Aaron Kai, football legends like Odell Beckham Jr., brands likeadidas, Pintrill, and Champion, and musicians like G-Eazy.

But, 2H 2023 may be Kai’s busiest season yet. Among other endeavors, he’s returning to the streets to drop original art across LA, Detroit and New York. He’s dropping limited-edition serigraphs and sculptures – both designed and priced to enable more access to a growing market.
