Ye and XXXTentacion’s must-hear gem drops Friday
Barring any setbacks, the world will finally get their hands on the single set to premiere on both of the musicians’ upcoming studio efforts.
This Friday May 27th at midnight ET, “True Love” from Ye & XXXTentacion will see its official release via Columbia Records. The track will appear on both the late XXXTentacion’s upcoming album, Look At Me: The Album, and Ye’s Donda 2.
“True Love” plays over the end credits of LOOK AT ME: XXXTENTACION. The documentary will begin to air on HULU This Thursday, May 26th. LOOK AT ME: THE ALBUM will serve as a companion album to the film, with more details to be revealed soon.
The song’s cover art features X’s handwritten notes, scanned from a journal that his mother found recently, with design by Ye.
In the past, XXXTentacion had enthusiastically expressed his admiration for Ye on social media. The release of “True Love” represents a full circle moment and another milestone in his unprecedented legacy.
