Even at 40-plus, Ye is still putting out quality tunes and breaks records. His longtime friend and collaborator Consequence hit up social media to share a clip of Kanye acknowledging the reason he’s still able to compete at a super superior level.
“Like me and Cons will be in the studio. And we’ll make songs and be like, ‘We want to make niggas mad. We want to make niggas mad with the music. If it don’t hurt, like if it don’t hurt. It can’t just compete, it’s got to hurt. That’s the reason why I’m not washed because I still make it hurt.”
