This past Thursday, legendary rapper Killer Mike celebrated his highly-anticipated LP ‘MICHAEL’ ahead of its arrival next week on June 16th. Killer Mike teamed up with Idea Generation and Tres Generaciones Tequila to host an interactive live interview, album playback, and after-party in his hometown of Atlanta for family, friends, and fans.

  • Killer Mike was joined by friends including singer/rapper CeeLo Green, actor Ryan Davis, and beats by DJ Cutmaster Swiff.

  • Idea Generation Founder/CEO Noah Callahan-Bever spoke to Killer Mike about his latest solo project being his most personal album yet.

  • The celebration with Tres Generaciones Tequila led to impromptu performances by both Killer Mike and CeeLo Green.

Killer Mike spoke to moments in ‘MICHAEL’ that are about overcoming hardships and lifting yourself up. Through its partnership with Idea Generation, Tres Generaciones celebrates the power that music has to inspire those ‘get up’ moments with its Fail Twice #GetUpTres motto.
