Kosha Dillz bodies Kanye West with his new 'Death Con 3' diss record

Sometimes the only way to settle a dispute is putting it on wax - super throwback sounding but leave it to lyrical wordsmith Kosha Dillz for stepping up and going at Kanye West with the thing he does best - bars. KD comes through literally heading into the fourth quarter with his new ‘Death Con 3’ diss record.

Kosha Dillz gets at Kanye West with ‘Death Con 3’

It’s not just Ye getting the attention. Dillz shares a few lines directed at Ye’s seemingly overnight buddy and conservative personality Candace Owens on the new tune.

The latest flair up of Kanye West anti-semitism is nothing new for Kosha Dillz. The Brooklyn based Jewish rapper has made a career freestyling and touring with the likes of artists like Matisyahu and Wu Tang Clan, to Lil Dicky has been hacked by ISIS, and is consistently sourced when it comes to anti jewish hatred by famous artists.

He has seen it happen over the years while branding himself with a different identity than most rappers. From Rapping in Spanish and Hebrew to Yiddish to last years viral Hanukkah song with Nissim Black, his buzzy moments from street shows outside Madison Square Garden with Fat Joe helped him earn a coveted spot on Nick Cannon's Wild N Out in the past few months (seasons 1819 & 20).

It’s more than just bars for Dillz. He even came through with a new music video to accompany his wordplay.

The video for “Death Con 3” (Ye Diss) takes you through Crown Heights NYC and a 15-foot dreidel to display various Jewish references, and shows Jews of Color throughout the video. Kosha is the first and only rapper with a yarmulke on Nick Cannon's Wild N' Out on VH1which was originally cancelled for similar anti-Semitic remarks.

"What is interesting as the world watches Kanye's downfall is that I’m the first rapper to actually respond.  I think I am in a specific situation in Hip-Hop where I can accept I have a unique position. I work very hard in my path to perform Black art form and I am on a Black television show where we take shots at each otherIt is a true honor to be there with such talent.  The point is that if you’re dope, you’re dope; and you deserve to bring your flavor to the world. I go hard for who I am, and when someone who you are a fan of disrespects you like that, you gotta come back properly. This is my piece. The engineer of the track also worked with Kanye. The producer Sam Barsh has Grammy’s.  My peers have written on Kanye's albums.   Hopefully Kanye sees it, hears it and respects the art. Hopefully people are prouder, and understand that no one seems to be sticking up for Jewish people; except Jewish people! Maybe this will change that. Maybe standing up for ourselves will actually bring us together" Kosha Dillz.
