Lady London: The New York rap lyricist delivers hard bars with her 'Pop Ya Shit' freestyle

Some rap artists just hit harder and that’s the case for Lady London. She can take a day, week - year off and just a few lines into a song and it’s like she never left. The R&B rap star has all the elements to be legendary and proves it with her ‘Pop Ya Shit’ freestyle being released officially to the masses.

Lady London’s new ‘Pop Ya Shit’ freestyle goes dumb hard

From the opening lines to the last bar name-dropping Brooklyn Nets’ Ben Simmons? Yikes. It’s all types of replay value from Lady London and for the first time the tune becomes available on your favorite streaming giants.

Following praise from the likes of REVOLT, Earmilk, Lyrical Lemonade and more, as well as millions of plays for her red-hot “Pop Ya Shit Freestyle,” New York rapper Lady London officially releases the viral smash to DSP’s for the first time.

Born to Caribbean parents and raised in The Bronx and East Orange, NJ, she obsessed over hip-hop and R&B since her childhood. After achieving a BS from Howard University and a Master’s degree from USC, she flipped the script, opting to forego medical school in order to follow her passion for music. She built an audience by posting viral videos of her poetry, paving the way for her show-stopping freestyle series “Lady Londays.” Attracting a burgeoning following of over a million on Instagram, her lyrical acumen has incited the applause of Busta Rhymes, Cardi B, Lupe Fiasco, Timbaland, and Nas, to name a few.
