ABOUT LATTO:

Two-time Grammy nominee and 2023 BET “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist” winner Latto has been making a name for herself since she was eight years old and hasn’t stopped since. In the past few years since signing to RCA Records, the 25-year-old released her project Queen of Da Souf, her Gold album 777 and loose singles while continuing to elevate and garner accolade after accolade. When Latto dropped her critically acclaimed album 777 in March 2022 it debuted in the top 20 at #15 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart and top 10 at #6 on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart. To support its release, she embarked on her first headlining tour, the 777 Tour, that hit major cities across the U.S. The impressive accolades she’s earned over the years throughout these releases include the following – she’s the first female rapper to ever have a #1 record at Pop, Rhythm and Urban Radio with the same single (“Big Energy”), the first solo female rapper from Atlanta to receive an RIAA-certification (both Gold and Platinum) and amassed her first solo  top five hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with RIAA-certified 3x Platinum single “Big Energy” (peak #3). She was also honored with the “Breakthrough Artist” award for 2022 Variety Hitmakers and the “Powerhouse Award” at Billboard’s 2023 Women in Music Awards. Latto also won the 2022 BET Award and 2022 People’s Choice Award for “Best New Artist” in addition to presenting at the 2022 AMAs where she was three-time nominee and the 2022 VMAs where she was a four-time nominee. Latto’s ability to entertain is never questioned, she’s no stranger to putting on a great show. She’s performed on various late night television shows and televised award shows as well including the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, 2022 + 2023 BET Awards and more.

Following her 777 album, she also released multiple singles, one being the track “PUSSY,” a reply to the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Shortly after her own tour ended, Latto hit the road again, this time being a guest on Lizzo’s Special Tour. To ring in 2023, Latto performed at Miley's New Years Eve Party and then attended the 2023 Grammy Awards where she was nominated for “Best New Artist” and “Best Melodic Rap Performance” (the latter for the track “Big Energy (Live)”). That same weekend she performed at Clive Davis’ iconic pre-Grammy Gala and was a part of his 2023 class. For the first time last year, Latto went overseas performing in various cities such as London, Paris and Gdynia (Poland). She also ran the U.S. festival circuit, one of the festivals being Coachella where she debuted her hit Platinum single “Put It On Da Floor Again” – the remix featuring Cardi B – which landed in the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. She’s recently collaborated with BTS star Jung Kook on his single “Seven” (went #1 on Billboard Hot 100 chart and was #1 on Billboard’s Global chart for six weeks straight) and went on to win an MTV VMA award for “Song of the Summer” for her collaboration. Other recent collaborators include Davido, Sexyy Red, Young Nudy, BabyDrill, Luh Tyler and more. Outside of music, the Atlanta-based rapper loves to experiment in the fashion space. She attended her first Milan Fashion Week and attended various shows including Roberto Cavalli, Diesel and GCDS. She’s graced major covers – Cosmopolitan, Rolling Stone, XXL, etc. – the past few years showing off her style. Latto is also using her platform to support her native town community in many ways, one being her foundation Win Some Give Some, that just hosted it’s third annual “Christmas In Clayco” event to help families in need during the holidays. The chart-topping global rapper and 2023 Forbes “30 Under 30” honoree is embracing this new phase in her career – manifesting good fortune and hitting bar after bar with witty, captivating lyrics, but staying true to herself and her Clayton County roots. Big Latto’s ‘got that real big energy’ and shows no signs of stopping.
