Latto's taking over the nation in a Monster way
Rap star Latto is ready for even bigger and better things in 2022. The hip-hop superstar is geared up to headline the Monster Energy Outbreak tour in the coming months.
Latto’s headlining the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour
The hitmaker has joined forces with the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour to lead the way as its headliner for the brand’s first nationwide run of 2022. While details are still coming together, everything is set for Big Latto to turn up starting March along the West Coast.
With a new album coming soon, the spring tour marks the start of a new era for the 2020 XXL Freshman - debuting new tracks on the road while showcasing her biggest hits, including those from her debut studio album, Queen of Da Souf, which entered the Top 10 on Apple Music iTunes chart upon its release. The project's lead single, her platinum-selling breakout hit, "B*tch from Da Souf," solidified LATTO signing to RCA Records.
Latto’s staying busy through next year
Latto can’t help but keep making headlines these days. Whether it’s her star power on new anthems or securing Soul Train Awards nominations - she’s sort of a big deal.
This tour announcement comes off the heels of her recent single releases "Soufside" and "Big Energy" her biggest debut to date which is currently dominating radio, as well as her recent feature on Halle Berry's Bruised soundtrack and her two 2021 Soul Train Awards nominations for Chris Brown's "Go Crazy (Remix)" with Young Thug, Lil Durk and Future. Following these recent track releases, she performed at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) on their Extended Play Stage. She performed “Big Energy” along with “Bitch From Da Souf” and “Muwop.” In addition to her VMAs performance debut, she received her first VMA nomination for “MTV Push Performance of the Year” for “Sex Lies.” She was also nominated for “Best New Artist” and “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist” at the 2021 BET Awards. Recently, Latto performed a medley of “Big Energy” and “Soufside” at the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards. She also made her tv debut on Seth Meyers this fall as well. Earlier this year, Latto released “The Biggest,” the first official release under her new moniker and of 2021 that explained the 22-year-old rapper’s reasoning for the stage name change, her intentions and moving forward with this new phase of her career.
