Leon Bridges has created his very own taco and it looks delicious
Make sure to come back to this article if you’re low-key hungry right now. R&B crooner Leon Bridges is proving it’s way deeper than the music biz these days by teaming up with Southern California Texas kitchen spot HomeState for a delicious and now signature taco.
Leon Bridges really has his own HomeState taco
Bridges has become the latest musician to join forces with the popular restaurant for their Band Taco Program. He’s officially created his very own taco and labeled it ‘The Ft. Worth,’ simply paying homage to his beloved hometown.
Regarding the partnership, Leon commented, “HomeState has always been my go-to taco spot when I’m in LA, because the food and vibes are so meticulous. It was the perfect place to sit and write, hang with friends, or wake up after a long night in the studio or on stage. The fact that it’s woman-owned by another Texan is really cool. I was super excited to create a taco that reminds me of my hometown Fort Worth, and be able to raise funds for The Big Good to boot. I hope people pull up with my taco, queso, and margs and just vibe.”
It’s a HomeState celebration
The HomeState social media pages made sure to celebrate the massive partnership.
Introducing… 🥁🥁🥁 our new Band Taco, The Ft. Worth by @leonbridgesofficial!
We’ve collaborated with Leon Bridges to create a delicious taco that supports two great organizations. The Ft. Worth is made with spicy achiote chicken, bacon, lettuce, pico de gallo, tomatillo ranch, pickled jalapeños, on a flour tortilla. Think of it like a BLT with chicken… on a tortilla!
