Li Rye: The 1017 signee comes through with the visual flex in his 'My Baby' music video
Some anthems just hit harder than others so it’s no surprise 1017’s Li Rye is coming through with more than just heat courtesy of the new ‘My Baby’ anthem. The song is flames but the cinematic appeal is tough from start to finish.
Li Rye’s new ‘My Baby’ music video has arrived
It’s a non-stop grind for Rye these days and his newest music video proves it. Rather than hitting the streets or traveling afar, LR goes the dark route and keeps the cameras focused on his presence.
Li Rye continues his hot streak of video releases as he unveils the visual for the track “My Baby.” Rye takes a different approach with his wordplay on the song. While fans have come to love the Mobile, AL native’s boisterous lyrics, on “My Baby,” Rye shows his vulnerable side as he confesses his love for a special someone.
Rye’s infectious energy seeps through his music which has gained him an authentic, loyal fanbase proving he’s next up. His previously released track “Rental Cars (RADARADA)” has accumulated more than 1.9 million total streams on YouTube (video and audio) and Spotify. He also recently released his mixtape Barely Living only available on YouTube.
Since signing to ATL legend Gucci Mane’s label, Li Rye has made a name for himself in the music industry. To date, Li Rye has accumulated more than 12 million streams in the US and over 15 million total YouTube views.
Li Rye started his musical journey in 2021, with his debut EP Emotional Demon. Shortly thereafter, DJ Booth hailed him as one of “10 Rappers You Should Know Right Now” On Audiomack.
It didn’t take long for Li Rye to catch the attention of hip-hop legend and entrepreneur Gucci Mane. Earlier this year, Rye inked a deal with 1017 and has been hard at work releasing music ever since. The proof is in the numbers. Li Rye has been featured on outlets such as Sheen Magazine, HipHopSince1987, What You Expectin’, OnTheRadar and No Jumper.
