Lil Uzi Vert's really back-back and SoundCloud proves it

Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert is gearing up for some major new tunes but before getting everyone too hyped, he’s going the gradual route by dropping off fire anthems like ‘Space Cadet’ exclusively through streaming giant SoundCloud.

With summertime temperatures only rising, LUV keeps things blazing with his new audio anthem. Clocking in at nearly three minutes, the Philly rap star doesn’t hold back on delivering his signature sound over a trippy beat off his upcoming Red & White EP.

One of the most streamed artists on SoundCloud of all time, Lil Uzi Vert has been teasing the EP to fans on IG and dropped the surprise early this morning. 

Since first launching his career on SoundCloud, the now Grammy nominated artist has used the platform to  share many milestone moments with his growing die-hard fanbase. With “XO TOUR Llif3,” “Money Longer” and “The Way Life Goes” among some of the most popular tracks on the platform, fans have championed Uzi to earn the “most-followed artist” on the platform in 2016 as well as “top artist” in 2017, marking the win with an intimate live performance for his top fans at a SoundCloud showcase. 

Launching today to celebrate the drop, fans can check out “DEFINITIVE” — a new SoundCloud-curated exclusive playlist featuring Lil Uzi Vert’s biggest tracks and fan-favorite gems.

Last night Lil Uzi Vert dropped a third surprise track off of their highly anticipated “Red & White” EP called “FLEX UP,” produced by longtime collaborator and Philly-bred cohort Maaly Raw – and like the others it’s available exclusively on SoundCloud. 

This string of surprise fan drops from Lil Uzi Vert includes “Space Cadet,” which has amassed over 2M streams on the platform and saw the most fan comments and likes on a hip-hop track in 24 hours so far this year, and  “I Know” produced by label mate Sonny Digital.
