Money Man and Chinese Kitty heart the Big Apple in New York

Who says the Big Apple doesn’t get love from all the regions? Atlanta rapper Money Man is showing big respect to the Empire State with his and collaborator Chinese Kitty’s new ‘New York’ anthem.

Money Man and Chinese Kitty connect in New York

With summer just hours away from happening - officially - Money Man’s new must-see visual is all types of Gotham City vibes. From the skylines to the iconic yellow taxi cabs, he captures every element from the concrete jungle.

Introduced with a mellow instrumental of strings, Money Man opens “New York” with deep bass and a high tempo rhythmic beat as he raps about spoiling his girlfriend around New York City, “take you shopping in New York, let you splurge inside Dior, balling like a play, a sport, I need your trust and your support.” The visuals directed by Sebastian Santiago follow Money Man as he takes out New York rapper and socialite Chinese Kitty out on the town. Driving down Fifth Avenue making stops at Dior, Louis Vuitton and other luxury stores, the two enjoy a day in the life of their elevated lifestyle.

“New York” serves as the second single from Money’s upcoming album, following “Big Money” which released last Friday. This latest output follows his visual EP “Whale Games” and his most successful album to date, Blockchain, that peaked at #13 on the Billboard 200 chart featuring RIAA certified Gold hit track “LLC”with Moneybagg Yo. He recently wrapped his ‘Blockchain’ tour in April making stops in Dallas, Houston, Birmingham, New Orleans, Durham, Atlanta, Memphis, Chicago, Cleveland, and Detroit.

More about the Money Man grind

In case you’re just now getting put onto Money Man’s grind, he’s been making waves from the A over the past few months. The independent hustle is real and he’s proving it - daily.

Rapper Money Man has emerged as one of the most talked about artists out of Atlanta in recent years. Through his relentless release strategy and fierce message of entrepreneurship and self-worth, Money Man has carved his own lane independently. Money Man first made waves when he bought himself out of his previous contract with his earnings from early investments in Bitcoin, to then partner his label with independent label EMPIRE. Then, with a bombardment of music that marries street culture to self sustainability topics - such as real estate, farming, technology, the stock market and more - Money Man emerged as a near mythical artist that continues to share his wealth of knowledge with his fans.

After hundreds of millions of streams, Money Man has now captured the attention of his peers with features from Lil Baby, Jackboy, YFN Lucci and more. His project, Epidemic, features 3x RIAA-certified Platinum track “24” - a tribute to the late Kobe Bryant - that has now amassed millions of streams and a remix with Lil Baby and latest album, Blockchain, features RIAA-certified Gold track “LLC” featuring Moneybagg Yo.
