$NOT: The rap heavyweight secures Cochise and reveals 'Viceroy' album tracklist

Rap star $NOT is thinking way bigger than EP drops these days. The hip-hop heavyweight has revealed the line-up for his upcoming Viceroy studio album promising nearly 20 audio gems for The Culture.

$NOT comes through with a huge ‘Viceroy’ album line-up

While he only goes with rap artist Cochise for guest features, $NOT secures 17 tunes to keep his day ones and overnight fans satisfied with the new LP.

Never compromising or softening his style for the sake of mainstream consumption, $NOTapproaches stardom on his own terms. Today, the 26-year-old rapper shares the tracklist for Viceroy, his new album, coming July 12th, via 300 Ent. His fourth studio album, and first since 2022's Ethereal, Viceroy is a revealing glimpse into $NOT's sinister worldview, imbued with hard-nosed rhymes, lilting melodies, brutal confessions, and dark humor. The album is home to the recent single "Hilarious," his second collaboration with Cochise, following 2022's 2x-Platinum"Tell 'Em," as well as standout singles "CRUEL WORLD" and "BULLY." Deepening his sound as he drills further into his subconscious, the new album continues to prove why $NOT is one of underground hip-hop's singular stars.

Since releasing his last album, $NOT has kept busy. In 2023, he released two standout new singles: the defiant "Cruel World," featuring a video directed by Chris Villa, who also directed A$AP Rocky's "RIOT (Rowdy Pipe'n)" and Ice Spice's "In Ha Mood" videos, and "Easter Pink," a laid back slapper with a psychedelic video of its own. The 300 Ent. signee spent much of the year on the road, highlighted by his headlining 33-date “Get Busy Or Die Tour.” With support from Night LovellEem Triplin, and DC The Don, the fast-selling “Get Busy Or Die Tour” connected $NOT with fans from coast to coast – selling over 45,000 tickets.

As he toured and released new singles, $NOT continued to rack up streams on his formidable catalog, powered by fan favorites from his albums - TRAGEDY + (2019), Beautiful Havoc (2020), and Ethereal (2022): several of his songs earned RIAA certifications last year, including "Mean" (GOLD), "Gosha" (PLATINUM), "Tell Em" (2x PLATINUM) and "Beretta" (GOLD). Overall, the hoodie-clad rapper has generated over 2 billion total streams across platforms.

With Viceroy out this week, keep an eye on the young rapper as he continues to evolve into an icon on his own uncompromising terms.
